Guild Event Manager!

As I am sure you have heard, KKT will be using Guild Event Manager (G.E.M.) to schedule runs and manage sign-ups - at least for the time being. You can use GEM to get people together for your own runs and to sign up for guild runs and raids.

If you've never used this or other mods, don't worry. Though it may appear complicated, it's fairly easy to set up and use. If you need any help at all setting this up and/or using, please feel free to request help from me in-game, and I'll be happy to walk you through it. I've outlined how to set it up below. (If you have installed an add-on before, you can skip reading over steps two & three.)
  1. First of all, you can download GEM here.
  2. To install the mod, extract the file to "AddOns" folder within the "Interface" folder of your World of Warcraft folder. (WoW -> Interface -> AddOns)
  3. Start World of Warcraft and select "AddOns" at the bottom, left-hand corner of your character selection screen. Make sure that the box is checked next to "Guild Event Manager."
  4. To open guild event manager, click on the icon that is now on the side of your mini-map.
At this point, you are going to need to join the KKT G.E.M. channel and leave the general default G.E.M. channel.

  1. Click on the "Options" tab of G.E.M.
  2. Enter the channel name "kktwow" and the password (You can request the password from an officer or another guildie in the game).
  3. Highlight the default channel by clicking on it, and select "remove."
